Digital payments getting huge popularity & tremendous growth in Bangladesh. Only in 2016, people made 180 crore transactions worth Tk 23 lakh crore in Bangladesh. Mobile financial services platform channeled most of the transactions. The e-commerce market now stands at more than Tk 400 crore a year and is expected to grow manifold. E-Transaction of Bangladesh will reach the 33% by 2021, and cross the 50% threshold by 2025.

After getting tremendous response at previous, RedCarpet365 Ltd is organizing 2nd Bangladesh Fintech Expo (previously known as Bangladesh Smart Payment Expo) to be held from 24 to 26 September 2020 at Int’l Convention City Bashundhara - ICCB, Dhaka – Bangladesh. This expo will focus on Smart Payment, Digital financial services (DFS), Electronic Payment, Digital Banking, E- Wallet, Smart Finance Technologies & Services, for a Sustainable Future. The concurrent exhibition is Bangladesh Smart City Expo & Conference, that will feature main aspects that needed to settle up a smart city, includes: Urban Planning, IoT, Smart Device, Sustainable Development, Cyber Security, Environment, Smart Energy, Construction & Technology etc.

The cost of an electronic transaction is one-fourth that of human-given service. Also a cashless transaction will reduce the scope for tax avoidance on real estate purchases, curbs generation of black money, also reduces the costs of currency printing and its management. Digitizing all social safety net payments could lead to approximately USD150 million in savings per year.
